The Architects’ Council of Europe is the European organisation representing the architectural profession at the European level.

Its headquarters and Secretariat are located in Brussels. Its membership currently consists of 43 Member Organisations, which are the regulatory and professional representative bodies in all European Union (EU) Member States, and accession Countries, Switzerland and Norway. Through them, the ACE represents the interests of over 565.000 architects from 31 countries in Europe. The ACE is the dissemination and communication leader of the H2020 ARISE project.

Belfast Met is the largest further and Higher Education College in Northern Ireland and one of the largest in the UK.

Technological University Dublin

Development of agility e-tools

Technological University (TU) Dublin, Ireland’s first technological university, was established on the 1st of January 2019 and has a history stretching back to 1887 through the amalgamated Dublin Institute of Technology, which progressed from the first technical education institution in Ireland, the City of Dublin Technical Schools. It is the second-largest third-level institution in Ireland, with a student population of 28,500.  Work Package 5 of the Arise project will be delivered by the School of Multidisciplinary Technologies of TU Dublin. The school focuses on maximising the benefit of working across a broad range of disciplines to address the multidisciplinary requirements of engineering and built environment programmes.



IBIMI Institute for BIM

Benchmarking Energy & Digitalisation Skills

IBIMI, the Institute for BIM Italy, is an association representing the professionals working in the Building Information Modelling domain in Italy, as well as the Italian Chapter of buildingSMART International. Its membership currently consists of 48 enterprises (design, construction, training centres, software houses, etc.), almost 200 individual professionals and 2 main stakeholders, RFI (National Rail Company) and ANAS (National Road Company). Through them, IBIMI represents the interests of the Italian building industry in the development and implementation of openBIM standards in the buildingSMART context. IBIMI is also the promoter of the qualification on the use of openBIM for energy performance.

IBIMI is the leader of the activity on Benchmarking Energy & Digitalisation Skills of ARISE project.



Institute for Research in Environment, Civil Engineering and Energy

Replicate – Preparing Market Implementation

Institute for Research in Environment, Civil Engineering and Energy – IECE, North Macedonia is a private –owned, not profit institute, established in 2014 and positioned to be the interface for academia, industry and society, providing beneficial exchange of knowledge, ideas and expertise.

The driving strategy is based on having an orientation towards sustainable development and an economy based on knowledge .Research, innovation, education and capacity building projects have been developed in the fields: Environment, Civil engineering, Water, Energy, Materials, Economy and Social sciences. IECE is a member of: UN SDSN,  UN Global compact, UIIN (University Industry Innovation network and other organizations).

In the ARISE, IECE lead WP7: Preparing market implementation.



ISSO

Design of the ARISE task-based qualification framework

ISSO is the Dutch Knowledge Centre for the building and building services sector. ISSO is a not for profit organization with the aim to coordinate research and organize knowledge transfer to the practitioners in the building and building services sector. ISSO plays an active role in the coordination work on the CEN standardization in the area of Energy for Buildings and Building systems. ISSO has participated since 2011 in an ongoing string of several IEE and H2020 projects concerning BUILD UP Skills and Construction Skills. In the H2020 ARISE project ISSO works on applied BIM maturity levels, the definition of Unit of Learning Outcomes and enabling digital means for upskilling anytime and anywhere; such as using the BUILD UP Skills advisor-app for micro-recognition of skills and skill development radars.



Copenhagen School of Design and Technology

Development of the ARISE platform

Copenhagen School of Design & Technology (Københavns Erhvervsakademi – KEA) offers practice-oriented, higher education. KEA’s programmes combine theory and practice in close relation to the business community and the job market for graduates. KEA has more than 10,000 students and 500 staff, spread across five departments covering design, tech, digital and build and further education. At KEA build BIM was implementing in 2006 and now KEA offers a whole suite of 3D/4D/5D & 6D (sustainability) solutions to empower the digital evolution in the construction sector.



Instituto Superior Technico

Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) is the largest and most reputed school of Engineering, Science and Technology in Portugal. Since its creation in 1911, IST’s mission is to contribute to the development of society by providing top quality higher education, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as developing Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) activities to allow it to provide teaching in line with the highest international standards.

IST is involved with some of the most prestigious RD&I and technology transfer institutions in Portugal, with remarkable impact internationally in many scientific and technological domains. Internationalization has been defined as a key strategic goal over the past few years with increasing number of international students and staff as well as an increasing participation in international academic networks (e.g. CLUSTER, TIME, CESAER, MAGALHÃES, EIT-KIC InnoEnergy). Through a large number of agreements with other institutions worldwide, IST participates in more than 25 Dual Master programmes, and joint PhD programmes with MIT, CMU, UT-Austin and EPFL, thus promoting a highly modern and culturally diverse society.

IST participates in a large number of EC-funded projects, particularly in the programs: FP7 (7th Framework Programme), Marie Curie Actions, ENERGY, ERA (European Research Area), EURATOM, ERC (European Research Council), LEONARDO DA VINCI, SOCRATES, TEMPUS, LIFE, External Cooperation programmes / ALFA, among others.
